As you enter through the Heavy Wooden door to "Agerdal Mjød Hal" / "Agerdal Mead Hall" - you are instantly greeted by a warm gust of air from the open hearth fire. There are at least fifty other folks laughing, talking, scoffing down bread and slurping ale or mead. You instantly forget about the Freezing weather that had plagued you just moments ago. This video has been carefully crafted with the hall bard playing instrumental melodies on Kravik Lyres, Trossingen Lyres, and Tagelharpas. Old Norse conversations and chatter were added in the background, to boost the mood and get as close to an Old Norse / Viking ambiance as possible. The audio in the video slowly becomes more silent and relaxed over the course of two hours and was crafted for relaxation as well. Great for increasing productivity, studying, or as a relaxing sleep aid. The artwork was inspired by: Rosala farmansgarden at the Rosala Viking Centre. 🤍rosala.fi/en/vikingabyn/ Music by: Danheim & lyre of the crossroads (CrossroadMusic) Have your own instrument handmade here: 🤍🤍etsy.com/shop/CrossroadMusic Danheim's Spotify Playlist: 🤍open.spotify.com/playlist/5V8zOkOKntRtYNsc2paiyN?si=B7IQs0RPRgGrGQdJupjTLg Follow me on Facebook: 🤍🤍facebook.com/DanheimMusic/ Follow me on Instagram: 🤍🤍instagram.com/danheim_music/ You can find some merchandise & clothing here: 🤍danheimmusic.com/viking-shop-merch/ Music Licensing: 🤍danheimmusic.com/license_music Some graphics and audio is Creative Commons licensed under "Use & Remix"

Would love another version of this for variety.
Real talk though why aren't there pubs like this out in the real world? All wood, full of candles (ok maybe fake ones with a covering to reduce the fire hazard), but you could put real candles up on a chandelier or something. Waiters/waitresses dressed in period-appropriate clothes. What a hit that'd be.
Piles and piles of meat and washing it down with mead
Perfect
Danheim, how might I use this please, for one of my YouTube channel old school videos without copyright/royalty hits from YouTube? Thnx, and this is really great! 👍
I'm reading Beowulf and was happy to find this to listen to while reading
Who is that old guy in the corner with the eye patch?
I wish they would do more like this. Analog and slow music and fireplace Sounds...
And that the music could play the whole time or at least most of the time
Working on my DND campaign to this. My (kinda) main character, Kaulder has a tavern and this is the exact vibe I want it to have when I run my campaign
The tune around BnDLNSoOuoQ&t=33m30s 33:30 - BnDLNSoOuoQ&t=35m00s 35:00 is wildly familiar but I just can't place it. Sound hound wasn't any help, can the YouTube comments help?
At some point, I trully thought they were going to play Stairway to Heaven
Reading Beowulf for my English Literature class and this is perfect for background noise. Makes me feel like I’m hearing the story told around the tables.
I think I have enough with my thoughts to sleep, I don't think I need music
I would love to build a hall like this.
The music helps relax me and the voices help put me to sleep, wonderful, thank you for this.
I USED THIS FOR SCHOOL WHAT
Happy New Year, Thank You !
